Red Button Technologies is a start-up company that is seeking capital to take to market an innovative personal communication technology that has global potential.

The key steps in the start-up process include:

  • Capital raising
  • Manufacturing
  • Launch to the Australian market
  • Development of a significant presence in key overseas markets
  • IPO to raise capital to fund the overseas launch
  • Global expansion

History

Red Button Technologies was founded by Reg Coutts and Justin Wearne in July 2006 to commercialise the intellectual property developed by Professor Reg Coutts. The IP is based on an identified gap in the personal alerting device market which has been confirmed through market research and is now the subject of a patent application. A working prototype has been developed to demonstrate the product concept and the team is now seeking funds to take the product to market.
